A curated 3-day escape to Fujikawaguchiko, immersed in stunning lake views, cultural landmarks, local flavors, and peaceful hot springs. Stay at the scenic Ubuya ryokan and discover the best of Kawaguchiko—ropeways, excursion boats, artisan cuisine, and the awe-inspiring presence of Mt. Fuji make this a perfect introduction to Yamanashi’s natural and cultural riches. Being able to see Mt. Fuji is not easy however. Here are some tips on how to make the most of your trip. 1. November-February is your best bet to see Fuji. Fuji is visible about 80% of the time here vs 20% in the summer months. 2. Cross reference visibility and weather guides. First the general Fuji visibility chart, this will give you a general idea on what to expect. It is most accurate around 8 days prior to your stay. Next is the Japan Meteorology site, which will give you accurate local weather results. Third is the live Fuji webcam that you can check for couple days before your trip. If you expect sun and you see clouds around 3-4 days before your trip, that is a GOOD sign meaning that cloud cover may soon pass. Lastly use Acuweather and check historical weather around the dates of your stay to see when to go. 3. DO NOT sleep through the mornings. That is when the skies are most clear and the waters calm. This is the best time to see the symmetrical Fuji reflection. It may be likely that this is your only window throughout the entire day so make the most of it!

Five classic days in Paris from a central Le Marais hotel, organized so each day covers one coherent slice of the city on foot. Day one settles into the Marais and Île de la Cité; then the Louvre, Tuileries and Champs-Élysées; the Eiffel Tower with the Left Bank and a Seine cruise; a full day trip to Versailles; and a Montmartre finale ending with shopping under the Galeries Lafayette dome. Every day has a named café lunch and a dinner reservation, from falafel on Rue des Rosiers to steak-frites and a grand 1896 bouillon.

Ten unhurried days on Oʻahu from a Waikiki beachfront base, balancing the island's headline sights with real downtime. You'll hike Diamond Head, pay respects at Pearl Harbor, spend a full day on the North Shore (Giovanni's shrimp, Waimea, the Pipeline), snorkel Hanauma Bay and drive the southeast coast, cross to the windward side for Lanikai and Kailua, and take in the Polynesian Cultural Center luau — with a deliberate rest-and-beach day at Ala Moana and a Manoa rainforest-and-sunset day woven in so the trip never feels rushed. Lunch and dinner are planned for every day, from plate-lunch institutions to Hawaii Regional Cuisine landmarks. (A rental car is assumed for the out-of-town days.)

A 5-day immersion in Japan's old imperial capital, based in Gion for easy walks to the Higashiyama temples and Pontocho dining. The route moves district by district — Kiyomizu-dera and the southern Higashiyama lanes, the Arashiyama bamboo grove paired with the Golden Pavilion, the torii tunnels of Fushimi Inari and the Fushimi sake quarter, a day trip to Nara's deer and Great Buddha, and a final loop through central Kyoto along the Philosopher's Path. Each day pairs the sights with a specific lunch and dinner, from Nishiki Market grazing to multi-course kaiseki.

What is a ChicTravel guide?
A guide is a finished trip, published. When a traveler nails their five days in Paris or two weeks across Japan, they can share the whole itinerary here — the places in order, the map with routes between stops, and their own notes on what was worth it. It's the difference between a top-ten list and a plan someone actually lived.
Copy a guide, make it your trip
The copy button on any guide duplicates the full itinerary into your own ChicTravel account as an editable trip. From there it behaves like any trip you built yourself: drag days around, add or remove places, set your dates, and plan together with your travel group in real time. Prefer to start from scratch? The free AI trip planner drafts a day-by-day itinerary from a sentence, and when your trip turns out great, you can publish it as the next guide on this page.
